IntimaLase® is a non-surgical laser vaginal tightening treatment using Fotona SMOOTH® technology. What is Vaginal Laxity?


The vaginal walls contain collagen fibres. As we age, the collagen stretches and the vaginal walls lose elasticity. This can have a number of consequences, such as infections, urinary incontinence, and a decrease in during sexual intercourse.

What To Expect


Your consultation takes place at our Baker Street clinic. Our clinical team will take a full medical and gynaecological history, assess the degree of vaginal laxity, and confirm whether IntimaLase is appropriate for your anatomy and goals. You will need a current normal cervical smear (Pap test) before treatment can begin — your clinician will advise at consultation. The number of sessions recommended for your case is discussed and agreed at this appointment. A written treatment plan and itemised cost are confirmed before you leave. £1,200 per session; £3,600 for a full course of three sessions.


No special preoperative preparations are required for IntimaLase. There is no need to fast before treatment. Wear loose, comfortable to your appointment. Ensure you have a current normal cervical smear result — treatment cannot proceed without this. Active vaginal infections must be resolved before treatment begins. There are no restrictions on eating, drinking, or medication before your .


IntimaLase takes approximately 15 minutes per session. No anaesthetic is required — the internal vaginal mucosa has minimal pain sensation and the treatment is well tolerated. A specially designed Fotona vaginal is introduced into the vaginal canal. Controlled laser pulses are to the vaginal walls using the patented Fotona SMOOTH® mode, producing a gentle thermal effect that stimulates collagen remodelling.
